Yosemite National Park. After nearly an hour of winding, boring forest roads, nearly all of my passengers felt the pangs of motion sickness. We then entered a concrete tunnel with a point of light in the distance. Once we emerged from the tunnel, this majestic view greeted us. I was swept off my feet. So worth it. I had photographed this view in the morning, but it wasn't until the late afternoon, on our way out, that the low sun drew swathes of warm light across the valley.
